BioHi there! My name's Shanna, but I'm known in the internet world as Zoe, which interestingly is the name of primary Guild Wars character, but is more importantly the name of our daughter who was just born this past October. What can I say? I love the name.
I'm 26 years old and have been married to a wonderful man (Hi Bob!) for five years. I am a registered nurse, and I work in the Intensive Care Unit and I love it. I have also completed training as a dialysis nurse, and can do dialysis for patients admitted to our hospital. It's a high adrenaline, high stress job, but it is equally rewarding. Been thinking on a possible change thought that will give me more time to be at home with little Zoe. We'll see.
On my days off, I am a semi-gamer. I play games like Guild Wars, the Sims2, or various Nintendo games (Zelda and Mario=fun).With the new baby in the house, gaming has been set aside, but I still keep in touch with the friends I made through the GW scene. They're the best!
Bob and I often like to go to St. Louis or Springfield, IL for a day of shopping and dining, there really isn't that much to do in our small hometown. We live in a small town along the Mississippi River in Missouri, so we lead a pretty quiet life otherwise. Other than my husband and my daughter, my second love is my two year old mini dachshund, Digger. He's like a toddler, ever curious and demanding, but hilarious.
My journal is open to friends only, but I always welcome people to friend me...as long as I know you from somewhere, or you're a friend of a friend, you're in. I tend to write mainly about my life..my relationship with my family, my job, and my hobbies. Occasionally I will write a somewhat emo-ish and introspective entry, but not too often.
